Are pre-soaked alcohol tissues safe for cleaning binoculars?

I gently rubbed one of these baush and Lomb pre-soaked tissues on the objective lens of my Orion 9x63 binoculars to remove a fingerprint and now the coating that is on my objectives appears spotted. image quality is still good. so my question is does the alcohol on the tissues erase the coating on the binoculars. I need some tips on how to clean these properly i barely got these binoculars and i want them to last a while. Also another note i use these tissues with my eyegles and i use them vigorously to clean them, but with my binoculars i gently rubbed the tissue against the objections the tissue seems to rough for the binoculars. I don't want to mess up the coating anymore on the objectives. so please give me some advice and what to do thanks
