Very nervous about induction of labour?

I am getting induced this evening and I am absolutely petrified. I think Im more scared off the pain more than anything. This is my second child i went naturally with my 1st and was in slow for 3 days and active labour for 12 hours. I went to 5cm with no pain relief just co-cocodomol cos i was getting treated for uti. I had an epidural which i shouldn't have had because it slowed anything down ended up having a forcep delivery. I am just wondering if when you get induced does the pain come quicker and how long are you in labour for?? Have any of you woman had been induced and what waslike and was it more painful than naturally?
