If humanity had the technology to time travel what would we do with this ability?

If humanity had the technology to time travel - I think it's safe to say that in the wrong hands it would lead to a lot of corruption and havoc in the world. We would have people left and right altering the future to their own selfish greed, we'd have people fighting over money, people causing wars, reversing wars, - the list goes on and on---
