Is Jeff Van Gundy a total idiot?

If u have been watching the Magic-Heat game, they were going over their predictions of MVP, coach of the year and the Finals matchup. Van Gundy picked the Rockets to beat the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals to go meet up with Miami Heat. I don't mind he picked the Heat because they can make it all the way this year, but what is this guy smokin saying that the Rockets will beat LA. Is he an idiot or what? Rockets might not even make the playoffs either. Van Gundy is stupid. Agree?
