Is Yahoo withholding the discuss option until after the 2008 Presidential election?

My belief is that Yahoo pulled the Discuss Option after the last election because there was so much anti-republican sentiment expressed and revealing information shared which resulted in a Democratic windfall! I believe Yahoo will withhold reinstating the Discuss Option until after the 2008 elections so that no group can share or discuss the news as it relates to the candidates.
